Founding Story

From the start of 2023, Combyn started life as a major competitor bringing in a new era of expense management. Dreamt up and started by Founders Sandra Ike, a senior software engineer with over 5 years experience working for international start up all over Europe and Africa, and Sophia Ike, an Accountant with over 6 years experience working for international companies in Europe, USA and Africa. The pair spent a lot of time lamenting on the manual processes start up face when first requesting submission and approval of expenses from different employees and even more time when reconciling these expenses to the companies financial accounting system. Using both software engineering and accounting experience the product has been tested, refined and perfected.
